Job Description
Responsibilities
Help to build and manage our referral program, consisting of everything from identifying and screening referral sources and tracking customer satisfaction to monthly newsletters and event planning
Work with our Director of Business Development to build our outbound program, which involves identifying businesses to target, securing the names, phone numbers and email addresses of contacts, and more
Plan and execute a wide variety of events, for the most part to support our outbound program, that include speaking opportunities, panel moderation, securing and preparing booth and meeting space, arranging meals and events for PNCs and current clients, webinars, and more
Execute our direct mail program
Build and execute a review program with the goal of securing positive reviews, case studies, and references all with the goal of arming our salespeople with stories that position us as the firm that gets results other firms aren’t capable of securing
Research and compile a list of niche publications, with the help of our digital marketing manager and content marketing manager, that are being read by our targeted personas
Coordinate and compile marketing and sales metrics, making sure everyone gets you the data you need on time so that management has the necessary information to make the best decisions for the firm
Learn our sales intake process, so that you can talk to, qualify, and schedule incoming leads when our intake person is unavailable
Assist our real estate agent, which includes updating the website as necessary, managing email campaigns, researching municipalities and property owners, and learning real estate platforms for listings
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
A strong desire to begin a successful marketing career or previous marketing experience
Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
Works extraordinarily well with others
Superior attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
Track record of meeting and exceeding goals
Naturally curious and passionate; you’re a lifelong learner
Tech savvy, good with technology and a fast learner
Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications is a plus
Compensation, Benefits and Bonuses
The firm uses a performance based compensation model. Base compensation will increase commensurate with a candidate’s experience. The base salary is earned when the minimum levels of performance are achieved. When KPIs have been exceeded, bonus compensation is then earned; the amount of which is commensurate with the value to the firm. A full benefit package is included which includes health & disability insurance, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, and more.
Office Work Environment
The firm currently resides in Class A fully renovated office space located in downtown Royal Oak in close proximity to several retail and restaurant destinations. We have a private parking lot and work in a private office which maintains about 15 employees therein. Employees and clients love our office space, which is representative of our success. The firm fosters a team culture and encourages the building of friendships between team members outside of work. The firm maintains an annual golf outing, hosts several team building activities and holiday parties.
Selection Process
The firm is very selective when adding team members. It is important that we take the time to ensure the right mutual fit. All elected candidates will undergo a comprehensive selection process. Selected candidates will undergo cognitive and behavior assessments, a screening interview (Zoom), a focused interview (in person) reference checks and the CEO interview (in person).
